I am honoured to have been commissioned by the Critics’ Circle to create a sculpture to award Iwona Blazwick for her 20 years’ outstanding contribution as the director of the Whitechapel Gallery.
The Critics’ Circle Visual Arts and Architecture Award ceremony was held on October 26th, 2022 at the Thaddaeus Ropac Gallery in Mayfair.
Selected to exhibit in Formed with Future Heritage at the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour in London, in October 2022
The world’s premier design centre is a champion of design talent and is delighted to give greater focus to the well-established Future Heritage, the forward-looking showcase of established and emerging makers curated by the influential design journalist and curator Corinne Julius. The Design Centre is already the first port of call for design savvy visitors, and this exciting event will bring exceptional work by contemporary makers to the home of design and decoration. Alongside next generation talent, limited edition pieces by independent makers have been brought together for the show.
Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour is already known as a catalyst for creative connections; Formed with Future Heritage will bring together makers and those who wish to invest in future heirlooms, working in partnership with them to create something special.

Selected to participate in ‘Prêmio Pipa 2021’ (Pipa Prize)
Prêmio Pipa was created in 2010 by ‘Instituto Pipa’, with the objective of becoming the most relevant visual arts prize in Brazil. An annual initiative whose objective for 2021 was to award emerging Brazilian talent with a maximum arts career of 10 years. Elizabeth’s work was featured in their 2021 catalogue. Elizabeth was shortlisted to exhibit at Fresh at the British Ceramics Biennial festival in Stoke-On-Trent in 2019, showing three pieces in The China Hall of the original Spode Factory site.
